It's been a rough week at the McGraw's! Let's just talk about our week...shall we? Monday - appointment with my Hand dr about the cyst and possible carpal tunnel in my wrist...find out he wants to do surgery. Pick up Baby Girl and they tell me she hasn't been acting like "Avery". We go home and she acts ok...just a little tired. Tuesday - take baby girl to daycare, have a good day at work, pick baby girl up - she's still acting a little "puny". We go home and she just wants to cuddle and rock all night. Perfectly fine with me :) but a little out of the ordinary for her. Give her some tylenol before bed and listen to her cough all night. Wednesday - Get up and get ready for work, go wake baby girl up to get her dressed and she feels warm. Took her temp and it's right at 100. Change of plans for us, no school - instead to the dr to find out she has the flu. Get her home, she rests and cuddles all day. Joey gets home from playing basketball and informs me that apparantly sometime during the day the shelf that holds all of our extra paint in the garage falls and splatters paint all over my car! then, go to put baby girl to bed and her temp is now 103. no work for joey the next day and i'll be off friday. Thursday - i go to work, have a decent day only i'm losing my voice and just feel like junk all day. get home and avery seems to be doing a little better today. she's playing and being silly - a little more like my normal baby girl! joey leaves for a baseball party in longview and it's just me and avery at home. over the last couple of days she has discovered that she can get into the recliner by climbing onto the fireplace and then over to the chair. she's been doing this over and over and over again for last couple of days. only this time, while trying to get from the chair to the fireplace, she slips and falls head-first onto the corner of the fireplace! i scoop her up and blood is gushing all down her face. i immediately go into a panic, stopped breathing i'm pretty sure and am just trying to get it to stop bleeding with a cold rag. call my mom bc she's closer than joey and was sure i wasn't breathing by this time. they come all the way in from jacksonville to check on me and baby girl. we decide no stitches needed...just some motrin and bed because by this time we are 30 minutes or so past our bed time! i think that's all for this week...at least it's all i'm going to allow! welcome to life at the mcgraw's!!

I am sorry Katie! Our preacher said one time you are going through a trail, just had one, or about to go through one. Sounds like you are going through one now. Look up and keep the Faith! It will get better soon. :)
